Purpose of the site
crypto-morocco.com publishes general information about crypto-assets from a Moroccan perspective, in Arabic, French and English. We explain how markets, platforms and rules work. We do not sell crypto, operate an exchange, hold client funds or provide any regulated financial service.
No financial, legal or tax advice
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Our content does not take your personal situation into account. Before making a decision, do your own research and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional licensed in Morocco. Any decision you take is yours alone.
Crypto is high risk
Crypto-asset prices can fall sharply and quickly, and you can lose all the money you put in. Platforms can fail, freeze withdrawals or be hacked. Transactions sent to the wrong address cannot be reversed. Peer-to-peer trades expose you to fraud, including fake payment receipts and stolen funds that can lead to a frozen bank account. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose, and never share your passwords or seed phrase.
Legal status in Morocco
Describing how people buy or sell crypto in Morocco does not mean that these practices are authorised. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including exchange-control, tax and anti-money-laundering rules. Our legal status page summarises the framework and is updated as it evolves.
External links and exchanges
We link to regulators, media and commercial websites, including crypto exchanges. These links are provided for convenience and are marked nofollow. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, services, fees, availability or privacy practices. Mentioning a platform, including in a ranking or a call-to-action button, is not an endorsement or a guarantee.
No partnerships
The site is independent. We have no partnership, affiliation or sponsorship with CEX.IO, Binance, Bybit, OKX or any other exchange, wallet or crypto company, and no company pays to influence our rankings or reviews. If this ever changed, we would disclose it clearly on the relevant pages.
Accuracy
We work from primary sources where possible, date figures that change and mark unofficial sources, as described on our how we review page. Even so, prices, fees, platform policies and laws change quickly, and errors can happen. Content is provided “as is”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. If you notice a mistake, please tell us via the contact page.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the editors of crypto-morocco.com are not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from the use of this site or from reliance on its content, including trading losses, platform failures, frozen accounts, fraud by third parties or penalties imposed by any authority.
Intellectual property
The texts, tables and original data on this site belong to their authors. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page. Systematic copying or republication requires our written permission.
Impersonation
We never contact readers first by direct message and never ask for money, crypto or personal credentials. Any such request made in our name is fraudulent.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms at any time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data.
